Yaz consists of coated tablets containing 0.02 mg of ethinyl estradiol (as betadex clathrate), 3 mg of drospirenone, and white hormone-free coated tablets. Yaz is indicated as oral contraception and for the treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) symptoms in women who use oral contraception as a method of contraception.
